These nibs are extracted from the pure bean of the cacao fruit itself.
The cacao is from our village of Mankrong and grown locally by our experienced farmers.
These very cacao trees are not mono-culturally invasive, but they are rather grown in little-medium forest patches within each farmer’s land. Meaning that every farmers still has lots of space for other crops and promote biodiversity.
Once harvested, the cacao is then hand-processed, where the cacao gets roasted, pounded, and its butter extracted via heated water.
We are then left with a cacao paste with a low butter percentage. The paste gets dry on the sun, and then pounded and sieved it in order to extract the cacao nibs and cacao powder.
The Nibs are then checked and packaged with love, care and intentions all the way to you.
Unlike many chocolate products, cacao nibs are naturally low in sugar. They're also a good source of fiber, protein, and healthy fats — nutrients that help promote feelings of fullness.
They're rich in many minerals, including iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, manganese, and copper.
Cacao nibs have been touted as a superfood that are packed with more antioxidants than dark chocolate.
Unlike coffee, which constricts blood vessels and raises your heart rate to increase blood flow, cacao is 99.9 percent caffeine-free. HOW TO USE IT
•DRINK (COFFEE SUBSTITUTE)
-Grind nibs with your blender, food processor or hand mortar and make a powder
-Send 1 to 2 table spoon of cacao powder inside 1 cup
-Pour hot water inside the cup
-Give it a nice stir
-let it sit it for 5 minutes
-Sieve it nicely
-Enjoy your cozy cacao drink / coffee replacement
-Sprinkle a table spoon of pure nibs on top of your smoothie bowl or fruits bowl.
-You can also consume them as they are.
