WHERE IS AND WHAT IS MANKRONG?
Mankrong is a rural farming village located in Ghana, distancing only 30 minutes walk from our land-site.
We are a relatively small farming community made up of 1000 people, 500 of which is youth.
Our community's main crop has been generally cassava, corn and cocoa but the average annual income of a dedicated farmer here can go around 1500 Euros (per-year). In order to increase the amount of annual crop/income many farmers have been relying on unnatural pesticide and fertiliser.
Many people have been also relatively forced to develop side businesses as meat retailer (mostly imported from abroad), provision retailers (also mostly imported from abroad), drink shops etc. to round up their expenses.
The youth of the village often leaves the unvalued farming area to find better monetary opportunities in Accra or close by towns, renting vehicles and working as moto-riders, taxi drivers, masons, at times carpenters or retailers, ending up slightly more than what a dedicated farmer would earn.
IN WHICH WAY THESE EARTH'S OFFERINGS ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE?
Our EARTH' OFFERINGS are our local social/communal enterprise that gives value back to our land, to our farming labour and to our economic status. Allowing our farming community to control their own lands and raw resources by being directly involved in an actual fair traded and realistically valuable system, by ethically and directly personally harvest the freshly raw resources from our wealthy lands, handle them to our selected team which will hand-processing them into precious body, cooking and even medicinal products that will be purchased by our dear global customers.
THE AIMS OF THE MOVEMENT ARE AS FOLLOW:
1. to take full control of our own lands and raw resources by keeping the harvesting, production and selling process internal and centralised within our community. Breaking the post-colonial chain of selling our raw resources to western multinational in exchange of cheap labour
2. to reconnect to our indigenous natural farming practices in order to leave behind the usage of unnatural and harmful pesticides/fertilisers, which would ultimately increase the quality of ourselves, final products and most importantly, restoring the natural health our lands.
3. to provide our customer with the most elite, raw and natural products and actual transparent experience.
HOW ARE WE PROVIDING FULL TRANSPARENCY?
in this paragraph we want to highlight the actual percentage of net profit per each product that goes to the various rings of this natural farming chain, from farmer to hand-processing to management to the company overall .

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND AWARENESS
Our product are available locally and also internationally.
You can come and buy them directly from us in the land during our tours and natural events or you can simply purchase them online.
We are happy to announce that we can ship our hand-made products also anywhere in the world.
But this comes with a price:
unfortunately our international shipment rate in Ghana is very high but we hope and trust that this will not discourage you from regular purchases and that we can still find your support and conscious investment.
We would also like to acknowledge that shipping our products internationally will inevitably create a level of pollution.
And we would also like to let you know that we are working on finding a greener shipping method, and considering also to create our own as the movement expands and generates more funds.
All in due time, all step by step, yet everything will start from the first, and your own very support and conscious choice will be of a huge support.
PS:
to keep in mind that most of the items owned by the average person who lives within western context are internationally imported or of an imported nature.
Phones, laptops, shoes, clothings, cars, furnitures, and many food ingredients and cosmetics, most of these products are averagely coming from other countries
(often from unethical production).
Therefore, since this international trades is a normality within modern life, then we believe that also ourselves, as a rural farming community who generally would contribute to western wealth without taking a piece of it, would have the “right” -sort of speak , to finally ride this wave of international trade.
To make it short:
if you have to purchase items that inevitably have international roots, then purchase from us. That we can at least secure a fully ethical and environmentally-compatible production.
Having said that, we are still prioritising and standing with earth and her health and wealth first. Therefore, we are still asking you to purchase with awareness, kindness and love yes towards our movement and also towards our mother earth.
