ORIGINS
 
These dry leaves are extracted from the pure long Cintronella grass plant.
The plants are from our village of Mankrong and grown locally by our experienced farmers.
These very plants are not mono-culturally invasive, but they are rather grown in little-medium forest patches within each farmer’s land. Meaning that every farmers still has lots of space for other crops and promote biodiversity.
Once harvested, the leaves are washed and dried.
Once dried they are then broke down in pieces with scissors leaf by leaf.
Until this very fine crushed like tea.
Yes, you heard it right: leaf by leaf.
The leaves are then selected and packaged with love, care and intentions all the way to you.
 
 
BENEFITS
 
Lemongrass/Citronella has a rich history on in Asia where it has been used for over 2,000 years in religious ceremonies and to make perfume. In many cultures it has been traditionally used to reduce fevers, as an insect repellent, for digestive issues and to expel intestinal parasites.
 
It is a rich source of flavonoids and phenolic compounds. It's also an effective antibacterial and antifungal agent that contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
 
On top of it, it is used for treating digestive tract spasms, stomachache, high blood pressure, convulsions, pain, vomiting, cough, achy joints (rheumatism), fever, the common cold, and exhaustion and ti generally cleanse toxins from the body. 
 
 
HOW TO USE IT
 
 
TEA 
 
-Boil 1 cup of water 
 
-Use 1 table spoon of the leaves inside the water
 
-Let it boil for a few minutes
 
-Turn off the fire and let it steep for 5 minutes 
 
-Enjoy your cleansing herbal tea
 
 
INSECT REPELLANT 
 
-Put half cup of any preferable carrier oil, and 1 cup of the leaves in one clay, glass or steal or copper bowl.
 
-Put it on Bain-Marie for 10 minutes 
 
-Sieve it and jar it in a clean bottle
 
-Enjoy your inspect repellant
